For those that don't know who I am I go by the name DJ TouchBeats and we offer a full training course for making and promoting music online. We take people by the hand and show them the basics of making beats, how to get into the advanced stuff and make some sick beats and then to actually promote it. We look at everything from growing a fan base online easily of people who really want to hear your stuff to actually selling and expanding.
But we don't work with free beat making programs. We don't suggest any, we don't have any and there's none in the training. And there are a few reasons for this.
First up there are no good free beat making software options out there. Paid versions are paid for a reason - because they're good. Most of the websites out there taking about beat making software without a cost are either sending you a trial for a crap tool they hope you'll buy or they're actually not free and they're hoping you just don't notice while you spend money.
We're upfront with it. If you want to take our training properly you're probably going to have to buy beat making software. Now we do have a really cheap deal on one of the best and easiest to use so you don't have to spend a lot but the free web based rubbish isn't going to cut it.
Getting a decent tool with us means that you can actually make something decent but it's not just that. We find a lot of people just give up and go back to whatever boring stuff they normally do. We're not a fan of quitting and we don't waste our own time teaching quitters.
So if you're going to quit now and go look for some free beat making program that's fine by us. Our training is made for people to really make something from it and you need to have the right tools for the job and by getting some skin in the game it means you're going to stick with it.
I mean if we just let people use our training with any old flash based rubbish they'll not get results and they'll get bored. If we make them buy beat making software and really show them how to use it then they'll stick with the training. The software we use (and the one we suggest our students use) is actually really cheap but it gets your skin in the game.
If you really want to quit after that then you can take advantage of the refund policy anytime in the first 60 days which means you won't pay a dime. But to start with you're going to have to commit if you really want to make something. I don't really work with people who just want to screw around with the software for five minutes and get bored. I'm looking for people who want to learn how to really make music and get it out there online. It's not hard to do but there's no free software which is going to cut it.
If this isn't for you then thanks for stopping by and I hope you find what you're looking for. If you're ready to man up and get into the big leagues then join the training here:
